Frequently Asked Questions

Most frequently asked questions are as bellow. Buying the service starts with asking (and answering) the right question which helps you to understand much about our applications.

If polished diamond parameter has variation then total depth doesn't match with it. To fix it you have to do some variation in parameters. For example if there is 3.5% girdle in certificate, then you have to try from 3.3% to 3.7% to match the total depth. Do same as in pavilion degree or / and crown degree variation.

NO. There are parameters available as bellow according to GIA facet ware.

Table % includes 53 % to 63 %

Crown ° includes 31.5 ° to 36.5 °

Pavilion ° includes 40.6 ° to 41.8 °

Girdle % includes 2.5 % to 4.5 %

Star includes 45 to 75

LH includes 70 to 80

NO. There are parameters available as bellow according to GIA facet ware.

Table % includes 53 % to 63 %

Crown ° includes 30.5 ° to 37 °

Pavilion ° includes 40.4 ° to 42.2 °

Girdle % includes 2 % to 5.5 %

Star includes 45 to 50

LH includes 70 to 80

No. in the app it only display difference for cut. But you can use user safety for symmetry variation for getting accurate result.

For VG symmetry to EX symmetry we can use approx. 3% to 4% user safety.

For GD symmetry to VG symmetry we can use approx. 3% to 4% user safety.

For GD symmetry to EX symmetry we can use approx. 7% to 8% user safety.

As per the diamond, use user safety for symmetry.

In many diamonds, we have to do less weight because of many reasons like symmetry variation, Cavity, Skin, Extra facet ware, Inclusion operation etc. And by operating on them and to get accurate weigh, we calculate some less weight according to percentage that is known as user safety.

In any parameter, we use any border parameter for calculation for get maximum weight result we use variation tic mark.

In many diamonds results, there is less table value then TD(Table Depth) percentage. Many times these types of diamonds are not salable. By using Table TD Good tic mark, we get the result as per TD (Table Depth) more than table value.

User can use GIA/IGI parameters for own range for get result by adding own proportion and getting result according to that new range.

User can get result by adding variation range in any parameter till its border value. For example, in proportion girdle value is 3% to 4% and girdle variation value is 0.2 then user can use 2.8% to 4.2% for getting result.

User can use manual for get results by adding his / her own any particular parameter.

If there is skin or extra facet ware in diamond and in result show less diameter then result is accurateand if you get result same as used diameter then you have to user 1% to 2% user safety for getting accurate result.

In such diamonds, symmetry is weak. And to get better parameter result, user safety should be nearby 2%. Because the weight of the diamond has already been calculated less than the actual weight.
